Overview

Ping32 provides a set of intranet security and desktop management tools to enhance the efficiency of IT operations personnel and support high-efficiency enterprise IT system management.

File Management

With Ping32’s file management feature, you can operate files on remote user computers, such as browsing, deleting, opening, and downloading. This enables more flexible file management, saving time and resources while providing greater flexibility, convenience, and security for the enterprise.

Maintenance Tickets

To improve IT operational efficiency and reduce communication costs, Ping32’s maintenance ticket feature provides a clear view of ticket status for IT personnel, such as pending, in progress, resolved, or unresolved. This offers an efficient platform for staff operations. Key advantages include:

  • Custom ticket fields: Administrators can define ticket fields according to departmental or business needs.

  • Ticket prioritization: Tickets can be assigned priority to ensure urgent or important issues are addressed first.

  • Ticket assignment and transfer: Tickets can be assigned to specific personnel or teams and reassigned as needed.

  • Ticket history: All ticket activity, including creation, updates, and resolution, is logged for auditing and tracking.

  • Statistics and reports: Comprehensive reporting helps administrators analyze efficiency and identify issues.

Identity Authentication

Ping32’s identity authentication feature provides user identification and verification to ensure system resource security and reliability. Key characteristics include:

  • Custom user management: Administrators can add users and fill in basic info like name, department, and position for authentication and permissions management.

  • Multiple authentication methods: Supports username/password, IC card authentication, and more, selectable based on business needs and security requirements.

  • Login restrictions: Controls which users can access specific endpoints for precise permission management.

  • Activity tracking: Administrator can trace user actions and associate them with specific identities.

  • Card verification: Users can authenticate using dedicated ID cards for secure verification.

  • Offline terminal support: Even offline devices can be managed and authenticated remotely.

Power Saving Settings

Ping32 intelligently monitors user activity and can automatically turn off displays or lock idle computers. Administrators can also manually configure power-saving settings with thresholds to trigger automatic actions. Scheduled tasks, such as forced shutdowns after work hours or reminders to users, help save energy.

Time Synchronization

The time calibration feature keeps endpoint computers synchronized with the server time, helping prevent issues such as data inconsistencies and coordination difficulties.

Desktop Personalization

Ping32 allows administrators to customize user desktops to enhance engagement and strengthen corporate culture:

  • Desktop background: Set custom wallpapers for better visual experience.

  • Screen saver: Configure personalized screensavers to protect screens and improve user satisfaction.
