Print Security

Print security allows enterprises to audit and control terminal printing behaviors, preventing untraceable data leakage through printed documents and reducing internal information leakage risks.

Overview

Ping32 print security covers the entire printing process and provides print log auditing, print control, print approval, and print watermark functions, effectively preventing potential printing-related information leakage and helping enterprises achieve standardized management.

Print Log Auditing

  • Record Printing Activities: The system fully records employees’ printing operations, including printed documents, time, terminal, and user information.

  • File Backup: Printed files are automatically backed up, allowing administrators to review them even if the employee deletes or moves the files.

  • Audit and Management: Administrators can periodically or randomly review printing logs to detect unauthorized printing or printing of large amounts of sensitive information.

Print Control

Print control ensures safe printing output and helps enterprises reduce information leakage risks. Key features include:

  1. Prohibit Printing All Files

    • Strictly intercepts all print requests.

    • Suitable for scenarios requiring full control over printing, significantly reducing data leakage risks.

  2. Prohibit Printing Files Containing Sensitive Words

    • Enterprises can customize sensitive words or select from classification libraries.

    • Print requests containing sensitive information are automatically blocked, preventing accidental or malicious data leakage.

  3. Print Approval Mechanism

    • Employees must submit print requests, which require approval through a designated workflow before printing.

    • Provides an additional layer of security to ensure sensitive information is controlled.

Print Watermark

Print watermark is an effective anti-leakage measure, adding text or dot-pattern watermarks to enhance document traceability and anti-counterfeiting.

  • Watermark Types

    • Text Watermark: Adds IP address, computer name, date, or other info for document management and traceability.

    • Dot-pattern Watermark: Adds patterns or logos to further enhance document authenticity.

  • Watermark Management

    • Watermark Removal Requests: Employees may submit a request to print documents without watermarks, subject to approval.

    • Flexible for different scenarios, improves work efficiency while protecting enterprise data.
