Ping32

Mail

To prevent employees from leaking data via email during work hours, Ping32 provides Email Audit & Control functionality, allowing organizations to monitor, audit, and manage email usage effectively, protecting enterprise assets and sensitive information.

Overview

The email module supports monitoring email sending and receiving across common clients such as Foxmail, Outlook, and webmail, including emails transmitted over HTTPS and SSL protocols.

Email Audit

The Email Audit feature records both sent and received emails and can detect sensitive content within emails to prevent disclosure of confidential information or other improper activities.

Key capabilities include:

  • Detailed record of each email, including subject, content, and attachments, helping administrators detect potential risks or policy violations.

  • Screen capture support around email sending events, allowing enterprises to gather evidence if needed.

  • Outlook integration, with options to audit only emails containing sensitive content, enabling rapid identification and investigation of potential leaks.

Email Control

Email Control combines whitelist management and sensitive content detection to safeguard enterprise data and reduce the risk of leaks.

Key features include:

  • Whitelist for senders/recipients: Protects critical data by allowing only authorized senders and recipients.

  • Sensitive content detection: Supports custom keywords; emails containing sensitive words trigger alerts and can be blocked to prevent leaks.

These features ensure that critical corporate information remains secure and protect the enterprise’s reputation and interests.
