#### **Server environment configuration requirements**

The server configuration needs to be adjusted according to the number of management endpoints and enabled functional modules. Please refer to

Recommended configuration for test environment:

-   CPU: 8 cores
-   Memory: 16 GB (minimum 8 GB of available memory)
-   Hard drive: 1 TB

Formal deployment recommendations:

-   The system partition hard drive must use SSD
-   For other configurations, please consult engineers for evaluation and confirmation.

> Note:If the server has previously installed Java and MySQL, the installation may fail.

#### **Software installation**

1\. It is recommended to close other applications (including anti-virus software) before installation to avoid affecting the installation process.

2\. Double-click to run the

**Ping32 Endpoint Security Management System**

installation file.Click Next and accept the license agreement.

#### **Select installation components**

You can choose to install components during the installation process. The instructions are as follows:

**Management Console**

:

Management and control platform for administrators to use.Connect to the designated server through the management and control platform to manage the endpoint.Multiple Management Consoles can be installed according to actual needs and support login with different administrator roles

**Server**

:

Integrated high-performance database.Upload endpoint information, audit logs and other data to the server for storage.Typically an enterprise only needs to install one server engine.

#### **Select the installation location and complete the installation**

1\. Click "Next" and select the installation location.The installation location must be selected as the partition with the largest remaining space.

2\. Click "Install" until the installation is complete.
