#### **Activation process for new installation or expired license**

#### **Login**

1\. After the server and Management Console are correctly installed, double-click the

**"Ping32 Endpoint Security Management System"**

icon on the desktop to run the Management Console.

2\. Click the

**Settings**

button in the upper right corner of the login interface to configure the server IP (no settings are required for the server local Management Console).

3\. After the configuration is completed, enter the username and password to log in:

-   Default initial username: `admin`
-   Default initial password: `admin`

4\. Click

**Login**

to enter the system. Please change the initial password as soon as possible after logging in.

> Login option description: Check **Remember Password**: You do not need to enter the password again when you open the Management Console login interface next time.Check **Automatic login**: The next time you open the Management Console, you will automatically log in to the main interface.

####  **Activation**

1\. Product activation is required for first-time use.

2\. Click

**Get Application Code**

, copy the application code and send it to the dealer for license authorization (hard authorization or soft authorization).

3\. If you already have a license file, you can directly select the license file for activation.

4\. After activation is completed, the system will prompt you to change the administrator password. Please follow the instructions to set a strong password.

#### **Process of replacing existing license**

interface in the upper left corner.

2\. Click

**Change License**

3\. Select the new license file to complete the replacement.

Note: Application code type description

-   The first four digits of the application code are `REQ1`: soft authorization
-   The first four digits of the application code are `REQ2`: hard authorization
-   The first four digits of the application code are `REQ0`: it is not correctly identified and you need to obtain the application code again.
